Les r\u00e9alisations et les perspectives convergent vers l\u2019objectif de l\u2019obtention d\u2019un\n\u00e9chantillon froid de mol\u00e9cules. Il s\u2019agit ici d\u2019optimiser le nombre de mol\u00e9cules et de contr\u00f4ler leur\nmouvement pour, \u00e0 moyen et long terme, r\u00e9aliser des mesures de pr\u00e9cision (qui pourront \u00eatre\nfacilit\u00e9es par l\u2019installation d\u2019un peigne de fr\u00e9quence et l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du signal de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence REFIMEVE, cf le\nprojet CPER Comb\u2019IdF port\u00e9 par le LAC) sur les effets de violation P et CP pour lesquels la mol\u00e9cule de\nBaF pr\u00e9sente notoirement une bonne sensibilit\u00e9 (dip\u00f4le de l\u2019\u00e9lectron ou effets de violation de parit\u00e9\ndans le noyau).<\/p>\n<p> Suite \u00e0 l\u2019installation du d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9rateur \u00e9lectrostatique, l\u2019\u00e9tape imm\u00e9diate suivante de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience\nconsistera \u00e0 \u00e9tudier la neutralisation, i.e. \u00e0 la capture d\u2019\u00e9lectron par les ions BaF+ . Pour cela, un jet\nd\u2019atomes de c\u00e9sium promus dans un \u00e9tat de Rydberg (Cs<sup>*<\/sup> ) fournira une source d\u2019\u00e9lectrons froids.<br>\nL\u2019\u00e9tude des interactions BaF<sup>+<\/sup> \/Cs<sup>*<\/sup> sera au centre de notre travail \u00e0 partir de septembre 2021 : il s\u2019agira\nde comprendre le m\u00e9canisme et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 du transfert de charge, et d\u2019identifier dans quels \u00e9tats\nfinaux BaF se neutralise. Enfin, nous avons aussi l\u2019intention d\u2019utiliser un interm\u00e9diaire ionique n\u00e9gatif\nBaF<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> , plus exactement un anion dipolaire, pour lequel la formation et la neutralisation requerront des\n\u00e9tudes sp\u00e9cifiques qui d\u00e9marreront en 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ces travaux en cours et \u00e0 venir, nous allons d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux outils d\u2019analyse (en\nparticulier une imagerie des vitesses \u2010VMI) pour lesquels nous solliciterons le LAC Tech\u2019 (\u00e9lectronique\net m\u00e9canique). En outre, nous envisageons de nos \u00e9quiper d\u2019un laser puls\u00e9 de finesse spectrale\noptimis\u00e9e (limite Fourier) ; il s\u2019agit d\u2019un laser \u00ab maison \u00bb qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 deux fois (dont une fois\npar D. Comparat) pour des exp\u00e9riences externes au LAC. Son montage pourra b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier notamment\ndes connaissances de C. Siour et des am\u00e9liorations de sa plage de balayage pourront \u00eatre apport\u00e9es\npar le service \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, nous projetons de faire des demandes de financement essentiellement ax\u00e9es sur le\nrecrutement de doctorant et post\u2010doctorant ; \u00e9ventuellement une demande de mat\u00e9riel sera\nn\u00e9cessaire s\u2019il nous est profitable de basculer d\u2019un jet supersonique \u00e0 un jet cryog\u00e9nique.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<\/div><div role=\"tabpanel\" class=\"wp-block-ub-tabbed-content-tab-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-tabbed-content-04b383aa-171a-4cac-845c-59f127e3ec38-panel-1\" aria-labelledby=\"ub-tabbed-content-04b383aa-171a-4cac-845c-59f127e3ec38-tab-1\" tabindex=\"0\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"S\u00e9minaire Daniel Comparat : Les ignorances de la Physique - Entre mati\u00e8re et antimati\u00e8re\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xMhKGaoKCi4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div style=\"text-indent: 20px;font-size:19px;\" align=\"justify\"><p>L\u2019activit\u00e9 dans le secteur de l\u2019antimati\u00e8re s&#8217;est effectu\u00e9 dans le cadre de la collaboration AEgIS  <i>(Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy)<\/i> du CERN et se poursuit via plusieurs collaborations:<\/p>\n\n<p>1 \u2013 Avec <strong>Antoine Camper<\/strong> et des coll\u00e8gues norv\u00e9giens autour du refroidissement du Ps et de l\u2019antihydrog\u00e8ne avec la construction de lasers (de longueur d\u2019onde 121 nm et 243 nm) nanosecondes incoh\u00e9rents ou picosecondes coh\u00e9rents (article th\u00e9orique en cours)<\/p>\n\n<p>2 \u2013 Avec le groupe de <strong>Chlo\u00e9 Malbrunot<\/strong> au CERN concernant la d\u00e9monstration de la d\u00e9sexcitation stimul\u00e9e par laser d\u2019atomes d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne puis d\u2019antihydrog\u00e8ne depuis leurs \u00e9tats de Rydberg, ainsi que sur l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du pi\u00e9geage et du refroidissement en particulier avec un laser puls\u00e9 inject\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9 au LAC <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><div role=\"tabpanel\" class=\"wp-block-ub-tabbed-content-tab-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-tabbed-content-04b383aa-171a-4cac-845c-59f127e3ec38-panel-2\" aria-labelledby=\"ub-tabbed-content-04b383aa-171a-4cac-845c-59f127e3ec38-tab-2\" tabindex=\"0\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-2 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Towards an <strong>Electric Dipole Moment<\/strong> (EDM)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">with atoms and molecules<strong> in Matrix<\/strong> (EDMMA)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"width: 20%; margin-right: 4%;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EDMMA-Logo-2-1024x505-1.png\" alt=\"alt text\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"width: 20%;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EDM_Team-2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"alt text\">\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-indent: 20px;font-size:19px;\" align=\"justify\">\n<p>Dans notre projet, nous travaillons sur des tests de sym\u00e9tries fondamentales dans les syst\u00e8mes atomiques. Une violation de ces sym\u00e9tries indiquerait l&#8217;existence de nouvelles particules \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires au-del\u00e0 du mod\u00e8le standard.<\/p><p>\nPour notre exp\u00e9rience, nous utilisons la m\u00e9thode de la spectroscopie d&#8217;isolation de matrice : Nous d\u00e9posons des gaz non r\u00e9actifs \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures si basses qu&#8217;ils se figent en une structure cristalline. \u00c0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de ces cristaux, nous pla\u00e7ons des atomes d&#8217;alcali, sur lesquels nous effectuons diff\u00e9rents types de spectroscopie.<\/p><p>\nNous voulons ainsi \u00e9tudier diff\u00e9rentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de ce syst\u00e8me afin de mesurer \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir le moment dipolaire \u00e9lectrique de l&#8217;\u00e9lectron (eEDM). Cette propri\u00e9t\u00e9 mesure en quelque sorte la rondeur des \u00e9lectrons et est directement li\u00e9e aux interactions \u00e0 rupture de sym\u00e9trie dans les mod\u00e8les de la nouvelle
